Excellent Effort on a muddy pitch!

Excellent Effort on a muddy pitch!

All 11 Lowdham Black players travelled to play a Sandiacre team with a good reputation. This meant a lot of chopping and changing, but the boys coped well.

Lowdham stared in their normal defensive mode which suited the game well as it was very muddy and slippy. But the boys soon grew in to the game and started passing the ball like they can. The first goal came through some lovely passing movement and was finished well by Cameron . Lovely team goal! The second goal came after a string of great corners by James saw us poke home after some great physicality by all in the box.

0 – 2 Half time.

Lowdham controlled the second half and another great team break saw Dan finish calmly.

0 – 3 Final Score.

Harry and Joe both did superbly in goal and both pulled off cracking saves. Ethan (MOTM), Brody and Ben worked tirelessly and were hard to get passed. James, Eesa, Jack and Owen were great in midfield battled hard and passed well. Dan and Cameron did well up front getting into good positions and working their defenders.

Well done boys! Good performance!

Thanks to the Barmy Army! Thanks to the ref and thanks to Sandiacre!
