Friendly against Dunkirk Colts u11s

dscf1906dscf1916dscf1963s0061940A tough game lay ahead but our boys seemed relaxed and ready for the challenge. They settled into their positions quickly with Tom R captain for this game. There was short passing between our players with Dunkirk on their case, their first goal scored within the first 2 minutes and their 2nd in the 4th minute. Some great passing shots between the boys with some good tackles from Tom D, Alfie, Reece and Jake. Our sweeper keeper Chester was in the zone making some great saves. Dunkirk were fast and organised and scored their 3rd goal shortly after. Lowdham did not let this get them down and continued to battle on with some great defending from Tom R, Jamie, James and Joe W.  Jamie set up our first goal for  Alfie’s great shot. At half time score was 5 – 1 to Dunkirk.

Dunkirk continued to push forward and then came their 6th goal. Great defending from Tom, Joe D and Billy, with a near goal from Tom D. Some swift passing between our players but Dunkirk came back again with another goal making this their 7th of the game.  An indirect free kick for Dunkirk brought Billy down but that didn’t deter him and he got back up fighting.

Final score at full time was 8 -1.
