Reds rue missed first half chances as West Bridgford grab an equalizer against the run of play.
Islay water was the tipple of the night in the Reindeer sportsbar for DJ and Ramsey with Jonny Houghton joining the merry band. A lie in Saturday morning with LC travelling to Regatta way to play West Bridgford United who had sneaked a win in extra time when they last met two weeks previously. With Adamola a late call off and the King away in Leicester, the pack was shuffled.
Arbuckloa between the posts, Camsterazi, Francisco, JC and Shaymar at the back, Redderski and Cotterillo anchoring midfield, Buchanzini, Shaylor and G force across the middle and Dunners up top. Jonno on the bench. LC kick off and totally dominate the first half carving out several great chances but the WB keeper performing miracles to keep the score 0-0 at half-time.
Second half and Jonno on with Shaymar now between the sticks and eventually the goal comes with Joe Shaylor putting Dunners in to coolly finish for 1-0. A few more chances falling to Shaylor and Dunners with one great header hitting the bar. Then with 20 to go a WB free kick curled into the top corner for 1-1. LC pressed for the winner to no avail. 1-1 it finished. WB keeper was busier keeper throughout and on another day LC would have killed the game by half-time. Still, the performance level is getting better every week. A couple of weeks off now and a chance to get injured players back. MOM Francisco for a solid performance on his first game back. You reds!
